LOB1 databricks lakehouse to LOB2 databricks lakehouse

Current in our organisation, data is streamed from salesforce to databricks (delta tables). now requirement is another LOB wants to access and query this data in our delta tables on demand into their lakehouse. How can this be done?

One option is to use streaming api from azure apim to azure edge of LOB2.

Hi @Ruby8376, You can create an S3 or ADLS mount point in your Databricks workspace and share the mount point with the other LOB. The other LOB can then query Delta tables stored in your workspace using the mount point. Also, you can use a Delta Live Table. Delta Live Tables can be queried by external services using the Delta Sharing protocol. You can create a Delta Live Table for the Delta table you want to share and then use Delta Sharing to allow the other LOB to query the data in the table.
