Hello, I am trying to serve a model endpoint (using Databricks GUI) for a model that was successfully logged to the Model Registry. However, the endpoint creation failed with the following errors:

Hi @Nikhil Gajghate, When encountering the error message "Java gateway process exited before sending its port number," it typically indicates an issue with the configuration or setup of the Apache Spark™ Java gateway.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

  1. Check Java Version: Ensure that you have a compatible Java version installed on your system. Apache Spark™ typically requires Java 8 or later. You can verify the Java version by running the java -version in your terminal.
  2. Verify Spark Version: Ensure you have a compatible version of Apache Spark™ installed that matches the version of the Java gateway you're using.
