Databricks platform release notes
December 1-6, 2022
Partner Connect supports connecting to AtScale:
You can now easily create a connection between AtScale and your Databricks workspace using Partner Connect. For more information, see Connect to AtScale using Partner Connect.
Databricks runtime release notes
November 30, 2022
Databricks Light 2.4 Extended Support will be supported through April 30, 2023. It uses Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS instead of the deprecated Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS distribution used in the original Databricks Light 2.4. Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS support ceased on April 1, 2021. Support for Databricks Light 2.4 ended on September 5, 2021, and Databricks recommends that you migrate your Light workloads to the extended support version as soon as you can.
Databricks SQL release notes

Web application user interface updates:
The features listed in this section are independent of the SQL Warehouse compute versions described in the Channels section of the release notes.
Alerts:
- Chatworks, Mattermost, and Google Hangouts Chat are no longer alert destinations.
- Improvement:
- The y-axis now displays numbers as percentages when checking percent values.
Fixes:
- Fixed an issue in Databricks SQL alerts where comparing against null values evaluated incorrectly.
- Fixed an issue where scrollbars on pivot tables disappeared.
- Fixed an issue where the schema browser couldn’t resize with overflowed tabs.
