Based on the documentation, the Agents option should appear in the left sidebar under the AI/ML section. I don't see it, is because the region? I'm in us-east-2

What should I do to see it?

Thank you

@jose_moreira If you're using Free Edition, there are limitations that exists - give it a read https://docs.databricks.com/aws/en/getting-started/free-edition-limitations?spm=a2ty_o01.29997173.0....

Thank you both for the answer! a follow up question please. How (or where exactly) can I see the existing MCP servers running in my Free Edition UI? There are supposed ot be 4 in total, right? Genie Code, Unity catalogue, etc.. Do you know?

You can find them in the AI Playground in Free Edition.

  1. Click on Playground in AI ML menu.

  2. Open Tools: Click on the Tools button.

  3. Add Tool: Select + Add tool.

  4. Under the MCP Servers section, you will see the four core categories (Genie Spaces, Unity Catalog Functions, Vector Search & MCP Servers (External/Custom)

great! thank you! You are smarter than Genie as it couldn't tell me how to find the MCPs. ๐Ÿ˜‰
