I’m experiencing the same issue and can’t find any way to enable subtitles either. This is a significant accessibility problem, especially for someone who is deaf or hard of hearing. I hope Databricks addresses this soon to ensure better inclusivity for all attendees.

Thank you for pointing that out ! However, I’m currently taking the 'Data Engineering with Databricks' course, and unfortunately, there are no subtitles available for this one. It’s disappointing as it limits accessibility for those who might need them.

Do you have to click through the link to qualify the event, or any courses finished later this months will do? I enrolled data engineering path late December without knowing this event, just curious. Thanks.

And while everyone is here, can someone with lab annual subscription take a screenshot or list of what's available once you are in there? Most, if not all courses with lab, or just the 6 listed on "what's included" page? If it's the latter, it's kind of weird that one enroll in developer learning path, pay for subscription, but only getting half of the practice. Thanks again.

There is no hard requirement to use the enrolment links in the course above, so long as you complete the course in the specified period you will qualify for the incentive.

To your second question, the academy labs subscription will provide access to over 25 different courses with supplementary hands-on lab exercises, it is not limited to the topics included as part of the learning festival.

Hi Gagan, to confirm the Virtual Learning Festival is aimed at providing access to a selection of our self-paced courses (video content) via Databricks Academy. Please feel free to enroll and complete these courses at your own convenience anytime between January 15 - 31 via the enrolment links included in the post above.

How can I participate in this learning challenge? Is it enough to enroll in one of the self-paced learning courses or is there any specific form to be filled out to participate?

You can enrol in any of the courses via the enrolment links in the post above, there is no requirement to register. So long as you complete one of these courses between January 15 - January 31, you will be eligible for a 50% certification voucher (which will be distributed after the event has concluded in early February).

Databricks Festival is from 15-31 Jan, moreover the learning link/url is available prior to this date.
1. Can we register and complete the course modules before 15-31Jan and have the discount code for exam.
2. Or its mandatory to start/end the course module falling under this date 15-31Jan2025. Please confirm.
3. Can learner register the course from different email-Id and get 1 or more discount codes and take the exam.
Please provide details on these scenarios.

2. You can start any of the courses at any time, but please ensure you complete the course between January 15 - January 31 to be considered eligible.

3. Vouchers will be limited to one per individual, even if multiple courses have been completed.
