I have on gke databricks cluster with multiple nodes running.
I want to close nodes when not in use. To reduce cost usage.
And Is there any way to pause gke cluster on-demand.

Hi @DeveshKaushik ,
In databricks there are auto-terminate options that you can opt, it will terminate databricks cluster if it is not being used.

Hi @Ajay-Pandey @Anonymous ,
I tried changing the auto-scaling setting. But it's not working. VM instances are active and running.
And is there any way to scale down number of nodes?

Hi @DeveshKaushik ,
Does your cluster was ideal for 30 min??
As you have set auto terminate after 30 min that min if your cluster is not being used for 30 min then it will be terminated.

If this is the case then create a support ticket with databricks
