Do I need to save the data locally and run the plotting locally as well or does anyone have a smart solution to this

Hi @jamescw ,

- Databricks provides various ways to save and display charts generated with Plotly.
- One way is to save the chart as a JPG or PNG file on the driver node and display it in a notebook using the displayHTML() method.
- To do this, the Plotly chart is saved to the /databricks/driver/ directory on the driver node, and then the file is copied to DBFS.
- Another way is to use the Databricks extension to run a local Python file on a cluster in a remote workspace or run a local file or notebook as a job in a remote workspace.
- This involves sending the file to the remote workspace, running the code on the associated cluster, and sending the results to an editor in Visual Studio Code.
- The graphs generated by show() can also be saved as image or HTML files in the /FileStore of Databricks, which can be downloaded and opened in a browser.
