THanks for participating! ๐
Hello @Jim_Anderson ,
Completed all 4 modules under the LEARNING PATHWAY 1: ASSOCIATE DATA ENGINEERING.
Will be looking forward to use this concept in real life project. Also will wait for the Voucher after the fest to achieve the Associate Data Engineering certificate.
Thanks!
Best of luck with the certification! ๐
i have completed all 4 modules from the Data Engineer Learning Plan for ASSOCIATE DATA ENGINEERING
looking forward for voucher
Congratulations! ๐
Hi,
may be this question was already asked, but I would like to clarify - do I need to enroll somehow especially ("Please follow the enrolment links included within the Learning Event."), or it is simply enough to complete in specified time period all modules included in a PATHWAY ?
Thanks!
You simply need to complete one or more of the specified learning pathways during the event window - the links within the original post have just been provided for reference ๐
In the previous Databricks Virtual Learning Festival held in January, I completed the program and received a 50% discount code using this email address.
Could you please confirm whether I can use the same email for the current Databricks Virtual Learning Festival, or if I need to register with a different one?
You are welcome to use the same email, but please note you'll need to complete an alternative learning pathway during this event in order to qualify for the incentives again ๐
Hey i want to do data analyst path nly so can i do only that path or i have to do all the learning path
Hi,
You can absolutely focus only on the Data Analyst path, you do not need to complete all learning paths.
To be eligible for the certification voucher, you just need to complete one full learning pathway during the event period. So if your goal is Data Analyst, you can stick to that path only.
Also, focusing on one path tends to be more effective, especially if you want to go deeper and actually apply the concepts in practice.
Hope this helps.
Hi @Jim_Anderson ,
Hi @Jim_Anderson,
I am progressing through the Lectures for Gen AI, but after the course completion I cannot see find the 'completed' flag for the same.
Seeking your help.
Attached is the screenshot, for reference.
Thank you.
Good luck with the test! ๐
I've finished Learning Pathway 2 Professional Data Engineering. I know I was told that if I had previously completed other festivals, I wouldn't be eligible for the voucher. Honestly, the suggestion to take another pathway isn't really an option; I was so enthusiastic that I finished all the pathways. But please note that I restarted the course, completed it entirely, and it was interesting to see the differences before Lakehouse was even there. I ask that you please consider requesting and reviewing my voucher application. Thank you.
Hi Carlos,
Based on the official guidelines, voucher eligibility requires completing at least one learning pathway during the event period. Prior participation in earlier festivals may impact eligibility, even if the courses are retaken.
Since you completed everything again during this festival, it is worth requesting a manual review. I recommend contacting the official support or training help channel and clearly explaining your case.
Hope it works out and great job finishing all the pathways.
Completed Pathway 1 : Associate Data Engineering on Databricks
Finished all 4 modules and now looking forward to receiving the voucher to attempt the Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate exam.
What stood out most was the strong focus on production-level skills โ especially DevOps for data engineering. Learning how to build reliable pipelines, manage deployments, and handle real-world failures gave me a perspective beyond just coding.
These skills โ pipeline reliability, data quality, orchestration, and observability โ are critical and irreplaceable in real-world systems.
One thing Iโve realized while learning data engineering:
AI can help write queries, generate code, and even suggest pipelines โ but it canโt replace the core engineering judgment required in production systems.
The real value lies in:
โข Data modeling decisions
โข Cloud cost optimization
โข System design trade-offs
โข Production deployment & reliability
These directly impact business outcomes โ performance, cost, and data correctness โ which require context, experience, and accountability.
Thatโs why Iโm focusing on building strong fundamentals in production-grade data engineering, not just tools.
I have completed the following Learning pathway with all modules. LEARNING PATHWAY 2: PROFESSIONAL DATA ENGINEERING
