All Self-Paced content at the Academy is free to Customers. Contact your Databricks Representative for access. In addition there are Public and Private Instructor-Led Training which could be paid for through your company's contract with Databricks.

No. There are both, free and paid trainings. Some trainings might become free or discounted for a period of time. The free ones are usually the onboarding or foundation trainings. The more advanced trainings will have a cost. 

you should find the cost right above the course language and duration. You can also talk to a databricks representative and they can sometimes provide discount codes or other training alternatives such as free webinars about the topic.

Not all the content is free, but the self paced sessions are fantastic. The Data Engineering track was more than enough to train my to pass the Data Engineer Associate Exam.
