I believe so because the described effect was also observed in another databricks workspace, where I did NOT make the accidental change

Thanks for your replies - the core question remains open: Why is there a difference? Will the difference vanish in future? Is it on purpose or due to restriction x, y or more like grown historically?

Ok, I think this explains it. I made an error and created the library as a Notebook instead of file. Once I create it as a file, it works, although the contents are exactly the same.Thanks!
