In order to create a ci/cd pipeline to deliver dashboards (here monitoring), how to export / import a dashboard created in databricks sql dashboard from one workspace to another?

Thanks

This is currently a limitation not possible on databricks. You can however promote the SQL scripts and just connect to the results via your BI tool of choice.

This is really poor. Being able to deploy dashboards through the API is essential to set up proper Data Engineering workflows.

You can use Terraform for that - just export Dashboard & its dependencies using the Databricks Terraform exporter, and then you can apply that to other workspaces

Is there a Roadmap item somewhere we can vote on to improve this?.

We created 2 really useful dashboards with 7 or 8 visualizations/saved queries and there is no way to save/transfer these as exporting a "DBC Archive" or "Source file" does not include these and the API won't retrieve them.

Recommendation is to update your legacy dashboard to Lakeview and then leverage built in export/import support.
