My certificate shows "Nil Nil"

I recently completed a Generative AI Fundamentals Accreditation from the databricks site, but where my name is supposed to show, it shows "Nil Nil". I raised 2 tickets about it but to no avail, I also retook the course but the certificate did not get regenerated.

Hi @r_ananya,

Sorry you are facing this issue. I can see from the screenshot that the credential was issued, but the learner's name was rendered incorrectly as "Nil Nil." This looks more like a profile or credential-sync issue than a course-completion issue. Databricks Academy credentials are issued automatically through Accredible using learner details passed from Academy/Docebo at completion time, so retaking the accreditation usually will not fix a bad name field if the underlying learner record is wrong.

If possible, also double-check the first-name and last-name fields in your Databricks Academy profile, since Academy does support editable profile fields for first name and last name.

Please reopen or submit a Training support request here and include:

  • Your existing ticket numbers
  • The screenshot showing โ€œNil Nilโ€
  • The exact course name: Generative AI Fundamentals Accreditation
  • The email address used in Databricks Academy / credentials.databricks.com
  • The date the credential was issued

For reference, Databricks stores badges and certifications in Accredible at credentials.databricks.com, and the documented support path for badge issues is the Training support request form.

If you have just submitted the request, I recommend you wait for a few more days.

If this answer resolves your question, could you mark it as โ€œAccept as Solutionโ€? That helps other users quickly find the correct fix.
