Topic: Radical Speed on the Lakehouse: Photon under the hood
I am Hari and I works as a Specialist Solutions Architect at Databricks. I specialise in Data engineering and Cloud platforms problems helping client in EMEA.
Purpose:
I recently presented a talk on Photon at the Data and AI World Tour London event on 2nd Nov. I spoke about how Photon is the new vectorised execution engine we have developed at Databricks. I explained the inner workings on Photon and how it was already helped 1000's of customers in improving their workloads latency while at the same time reducing TCO. I also discussed some of the upcoming features in Photon.
