I passed that exam and I would recommend focusing on delta format (understanding how it works), medallion architecture, performance issues ( spill, skew, shuffle, storage issue, memory issue) and following all notebooks from Databricks Academy.

According to the official FAQ, the short answer is NO.

They will probably release a practice test when they retire existing current version.

The Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 exam has a practice exam available for Python and Scala. The Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate exam also has a practice exam available.

right now in the data engineering certification journey, practice exam available only for the associate one (https://files.training.databricks.com/assessments/practice-exams/PracticeExam-DataEngineerAssociate.pdf). In one of the databricks sessions, they mentioned there is a possibility of 1 practice exam for the professional certification to be made available by the 1st quarter of 2023.
