Non-admin users unable to create jobs from Job UI
Non-admin users may be experiencing difficulties interacting with the jobs UI. This is due to a recently discovered UI regression in the 3.73 shard release, deployed to the jobs service starting June 6th, 2022.
Functionality Impacted:
Non-admin UI users in the current single-tenant environment release cannot create a new job, add a task to an existing job, or change the type of an existing task. This issue only affects the UI, API users are not affected.
Timeline:
This issue will be fully resolved in our next product update, which is scheduled between June 17th - June 20th, 2022.
Solution:
The following workarounds are available as interim solutions:
- As the issue is happening only in UI, we recommend using APIs to perform the mentioned tasks until the time the issue is fixed.
- A non-admin user can ask an Admin user to perform the tasks on their behalf.
