The keyboard shortcut to run selected text (ctrl + shift + enter) has not been working for me since yesterday (10/31/24). Instead of running the selected text, databricks notebooks are treating it like shift + enter and running the entire cell. I have tested this on multiple keyboards, as well as having a colleague test it on their own machine and notebook, so I don't believe this is a local issue. Any one with similar experiences, or a solution for this problem?

Hello @597581,
Greetings from Databricks. I just tried to replicate the same behavior in different environments and it is working as expected. I will dig internally and get back to you.

As another user mentioned below, this error is seen in python notebooks. Not sure if it exists in the other languages.

@Alberto_Umana just wandering if there is any update on this? I've noticed that the issue only persists exclusively in Databricks Python notebook environment. In comparison, within SQL, Control+Shift+Enter works as usual, running single line of code.

Same here.

To work in Python, I was only able to get it to run by clicking on the palette options in the notebook cell and selecting the option to execute the selected text.
