Sending email alerts to non-databricks user

Mits

I am trying to send email alerts to a non databricks user. I am using Alerts feature available in SQL. Can someone help me with the steps.

Do I first need to first add Notification Destination through Admin settings and then use this newly added destination in the alert?

@Mitali Lad yes you need to configure notification destination first and then add that destination while configuring your alerts in sql

please follow below steps

https://docs.databricks.com/sql/user/alerts/index.html

https://docs.databricks.com/sql/admin/notification-destinations.html

Hi, You can refer to https://docs.databricks.com/sql/user/alerts/index.html and also for configuring alert access control you can check on https://docs.databricks.com/security/auth-authz/access-control/alert-acl.html.

Please let us know if this helps, also please tag @Debayan with your next response which will notify me, Thank you!
