Create a Dockerfile from Cluster

Is there a way to create a Dockerfile from Workspace A's cluster configurations and deploy that on a different different cluster in Workspace B?

I wanted to know if we can export the cluster's configs into a docker image?

Hi @Kevin Kim  We cannot export cluster configs into a docker image. The purpose of providing custom docker images is to be able to pre-install the necessary dependencies on the cluster nodes, instead of doing that during the cluster startup. But the image cannot include the spark/other cluster configs by itself.

However, if you would like to create a cluster with the exact same configs as that of an existing cluster in another workspace, you may use the REST APIs:

Hi @Kevin Kim

Hope everything is going great.

Just wanted to check in if you were able to resolve your issue. If yes, would you be happy to mark an answer as best so that other members can find the solution more quickly? If not, please tell us so we can help you.

Cheers!
