Taking exams is so stressful already, and if your exam gets suspended it is extra stressful. Don't worry! Our support team is awesome and will help you get back on track.

The most important step is to file a ticket in our Help Center. Be sure to include the following details in your ticket:

• Username
• Exam name

NOTE: Please do not post your exam username publicly, such as here in the community forums, as this is private information.

The process will be faster if you can also offer a couple of dates/times that you are available to resume your exam. while I was taking the Databricks Data Engineer Associate Certificate, exam suspended all of a sudden and the support team asked to show the complete room where there is nobody in the room and I was asked to move the pen nearby the table to  6 feet away. But all of a sudden, I got a message that exam had been suspended you may exit the exam. Please assist me on this at the earliest possible time. I’m pretty sure that I wasn’t involved in any of the malpractice activities. A ticket has been raised for this #0073840.

similar thing happened to me. it was one of the hottest days and i took a sip of water before pressing start exam.  I put the water out of my reach. Then clicked start.  I saw the first question for about a minute then exam suspended.  the moderator told me to remove the water from my area so i got up picked up my glass of water and put it well away.  Mod then said as I had been out of camera for a few seconds that exam is suspended!  Luckily the exam company saw sense and rescheduled my exam for later on.  But huge stress just before the Prof Data Engineer exam!!! Databricks please look into this.  There are so many over zealous mods on the exams!

My Exam got suspended because they suspected technical, behavioural, and/or environmental requirements violation. Although I have shown them my entire room, Now my exam is rescheduled at 3 AM IST in the morning(but thats fine, I can manage). Just want to confirm will the exam be resumed from where I left off as you mentioned in the post above or will it be fresh start, as I was left with only 5 ques to do.

My exam was suspended due to eye movement. I want to clarify that my eye movements were only from reading the questions and answer options. I did not engage in any malpractice.

Hi Team @Cert-Team ,

I have faced the issue of exam suspension of Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate because of some eye movement.

I showed them my entire room and everything and they said it was alright but told me about suspension without justifying or giving any reason.

I've raised the ticket through help center with request #00750668.

Can someone help me to re-schedule my exam on 4th Oct, 2025,11:30 am IST?

During my exam attempt, I experienced significant and repeated interruptions. The exam was paused four separate times, and twice I was required to show my entire room and desk to the proctor. Eventually, the exam was suspended completely.

I was facing technical issues during my Databricks Data Engineer Associate Certification Exam, so I reached out to the support team for help. The support team kindly rescheduled my exam, and I was able to start it again from where I had left off.

However, after some time, I started facing repeated technical errors again. I tried to contact the support team immediately, but before I could get assistance, my exam got suspended.

Unfortunately, I haven’t received any resolution yet, and my exam remains suspended. I faced repeated technical issues during my Databricks Data Engineer Associate Exam, and despite reaching out promptly, the issue persisted and led to the suspension.

This certification is extremely important for me, and the problems were completely beyond my control. I kindly request your support in escalating this matter or helping me get my exam rescheduled as soon as possible.
