Databricks Certification Exam Suspended? Our Support Team Can Help

Taking exams is so stressful already, and if your exam gets suspended it is extra stressful. Don't worry! Our support team is awesome and will help you get back on track.

The most important step is to file a ticket in our Help Center. Be sure to include the following details in your ticket:

  • Username
  • Exam name

NOTE: Please do not post your exam username publicly, such as here in the community forums, as this is private information.

The process will be faster if you can also offer a couple of dates/times that you are available to resume your exam. Once the support team has you rescheduled, you can log into your test taker account and resume your exam exactly where you left off. For more information please visit Certification FAQ

Hi @cert-ops and @Cert-Team,

My exam was suspended on March 21, 2026 due to a technical issue โ€” LockDown Browser OEM showed a blank screen when I clicked "Start Exam." After waiting ~20 minutes with no response, I had to exit. When I re-entered, Webassessor had already expired the launch link.

All system checks were completed prior to this. I did not begin the exam or violate any rules.

I have already raised a support ticket: #00876693. I kindly request a prompt review and reschedule at the earliest availability.

Assessment details:

  • Exam: Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate
  • Original Date: 21 March 2026, 10:00

If your Databricks certification exam has been suspended, here's what you need to know:

Support Ticket
Please submit a support ticket through the Databricks Help Center:
https://help.databricks.com/s/contact-us?ReqType=training

When submitting your request, please include:

  • Your username/account email
  • The name of the exam that was suspended
  • Your available dates and times for rescheduling

What NOT to Do
Please do not post your exam credentials, username, email address, or any other account details publicly on the Community forum.

What to Expect
The Certification Support team will review your case and assist with the next steps, including rescheduling if applicable. Response times are typically within 1โ€“2 business days.

Please note that exam suspension cases cannot be reviewed or resolved through the Community. The Certification Support team will be able to assist you directly through the support ticket process.

Dear Cert-TeamOPS,

I'm seeking your help as my previous support tickets were closed with a generic response stating that Respondus detected "malware used to allow remote access," but no details or evidence were provided about what was actually detected.

Without this information, I cannot identify or fix the issue, and I'm disappointed that my first exam attempt was suspended without being given an opportunity to retake it, despite the significant certification fee.

I respectfully request that my case be reviewed and escalated, and that I be considered for a complimentary retake. I hope Databricks can provide greater transparency and help resolve this recurring concern for certification candidates.

My exam was automatically suspended on July 10, 2026, before I was even able to start the assessment.

I have already raised a support request with the Databricks Training team: #00961665. I kindly request a prompt review of my case and guidance on the next steps, including rescheduling the exam at the earliest available opportunity.

Assessment Details:

  • Exam: Databricks Certified Generative AI Engineer Associate
  • Exam Date & Time: July 10, 2026, 3:30 PM IST

Issue Details:

I successfully completed all required pre-exam checks, including camera and microphone verification. The check-in process was completed successfully, and I received the confirmation message wishing me good luck and encouraging me to believe in my preparation.

However, immediately after clicking "Start Exam," the exam was marked as suspended. I did not even start the exam or access any exam questions. The suspension occurred without any explanation, warning, or indication of an issue during the check-in process.

I kindly request that my case be reviewed and that I be provided with the reason for the suspension and the available resolution. Since I was unable to attempt the exam, I would appreciate your support in rescheduling it at the earliest available opportunity.
