I had to finally create the jar using teh intellij and sbt iconfiguration on the same env. and then installed the jar in the cluster it worked

Not able to parse .doc extension file using scala in databricks notebook?

I could able to parse .doc extension files using Java programming with the help of POI libraries but when trying to convert Java code into Scala i expect it has to work with same java libraries with Scala programming but it is showing with below erro...

Call scala application jar in notebook

Hi,Is there any way to execute jar scala-spark application inside the notebook, without using jobs?I have different jars for different intakes and I want to call them from a notebook, so I could call them in a parameterized way.Thanks
