I just cleared it. Tough exam. Spend at least 3 weeks for preparation. For practice tests. Try ITEXAMSTEST. they have verified answers with good explanations, I personally used it for my Databricks-Machine-Learning-Associate exam and I must say this ...

Resolved! Can I use mlflow locally on my machine or does it always have to be through Databricks?
Would it require DB connect / DB CLI / API?

mlflow is an open source framework and you could pip install mlflow in your laptop for example. https://mlflow.org/docs/latest/quickstart.html
